2021 Nissan Sentra Overview

What's New for 2021?

The Nissan Sentra is a top-selling fan-favorite for many drivers throughout Washington state. With abundant leg and headroom, advanced tech, and a full bevy of fresh stylistic features, the Sentra is a modern commuter's and adventurer's dream vehicle. Coming from a fresh redesign in 2020, the 2021 Nissan Sentra remains similar to its predecessor. The Sentra lineup not only had sharp changes to its exterior last year but also had critical changes to its interior and engine. A variety of premium features are available on the Sentra that was not available in 2019. These features include premium interior materials and a dash-mounted touchscreen display that are now offered for those seeking a high-end cabin experience.

Performance

The 2020 Nissan Sentra received a 2.0-liter engine that produces 149 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque. That same engine is expected to remain in the 2021 Nissan Sentra, mated with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that transfers power to the Sentra's front-wheel-drive drivetrain.

Safety & Technology

Nissan Safety Shield 360 Suite is included standard on every new Nissan Sentra model. The suite includes a number of driver-assist features like blind-spot monitoring and lane-departure warning. Additionally, features like high-beam assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking are included in Nissan's suite to better ensure your safety when trekking throughout the Skagit Valley region.

At the front and center of the 2021 Nissan Sentra is a seven-inch touchscreen display that is mounted to the top of the dashboard. Customers can choose to upgrade the standard seven-inch display to an eight-inch display if they wish but both screens provide access to a savvy infotainment system. The infotainment system can be connected to using Bluetooth, USB ports, Apple CarPlay, or Android Auto.

Design

Not much will be changed with the design of the 2021 Nissan Sentra. The model is expected to retain its sharp characteristics, like its sharp headlights and sharp V-shaped grille. An optional two-tone roof is also expected to be offered again for 2021. There is a lot to learn and see with the new 2021 Nissan Sentra.
